At EBS Electric Group in Petroșani, Romania, the design process is not merely technical drawing but part of the business strategy. Our R&D department works closely with the procurement and production teams to deliver solutions that are not only functional but also optimised in terms of cost and scalability.

Embedded software engineering and operating systems

We develop turnkey firmware and software applications tailored to the specific requirements of your project:

Microcontrollers and DSPs: Experience with established architectures such as Atmel, PIC, ST and Texas Instruments, as well as with digital signal processors from TI, Motorola and Analog Devices.

Control applications: Real-time systems for data and image acquisition and processing, serial communication, USB, Ethernet and advanced symmetric or asymmetric encryption protocols.

PC integration: We develop drivers and dedicated applications for Windows and Linux, including embedded systems, ensuring seamless integration of the hardware into complex software ecosystems.

PCB Layout and Schematic Design (CAD)

We use current design tools to generate precise manufacturing data:

Multilayer complexity: from simple circuits to high-density multilayer boards on rigid, flexible or rigid-flex substrates.

Signal integrity: dedicated design for high-frequency RF applications, high-speed digital systems and sensitive power supplies.

EMC compliance: layouts optimised for resistance to electromagnetic interference, in accordance with the applicable standards.

Prototyping and validation (pilot series)

Building a prototype is a critical stage in which we identify potential problems before mass production begins. Our services include:

DFM and DFT feedback: we analyse prototypes to reduce tooling costs, including stencils, as well as equipment programming costs in series production.

Prototype validation: SMT assembly and rigorous functional testing to confirm the key technical parameters.
