The year 2021 was a challenging one that affected all of us, highlighting the vulnerability of both companies and individuals in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. Supply chain disruptions, material shortages, and changes in workforce dynamics were challenges that pushed us to find automated and autonomous solutions to support production.
However, during this period, the electronics industry experienced significant growth, driven by changes in human behavior, with people working predominantly from home and increasingly relying on electronic devices for their personal comfort.
Within our EMS services, by the end of 2021 we managed to increase our production capacity through the acquisition of a selective soldering equipment for THT components. This high-performance equipment ensured a significant improvement in production quality and, implicitly, increased customer satisfaction.
I remain optimistic about the future of production and the demand for electronic modules, even though we are currently facing a shortage of components and manufacturing materials. I trust in the innovative solutions of the team I lead and I am confident that we will apply best practices to deliver the quality and timelines expected by our customers.
I hope that 2022 will allow us to further increase our production capacity and product quality, to operate with greater flexibility, and to be able to meet face to face again in a more open and connected world.
